i would like to know how to save a document (template) to show on the tool ribbon so it can be clicked on and used frequently.
RE: Macros
Hello Samantha,
Thank you for your question regarding templates and macros.
Create your template. Start to record a macro, open the saved template, stop recording. Once the macro is recorded you can then attach to a ribbon.
In File, Options, customise ribbon. From the "Choose commands from" drop down select Macros. You will see the macro you just recorded. To add to a ribbon e.g. Home. you must first create a new group.
In the right hand column, select Home, then click the New Group button at the bottom. The Macro can then be added to this new group. Both Macro and New group can be renamed.
I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.
If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?
Have a great day.
Regards,
Mark
