Excel 2007 Scenario toggling

Is it possible to set up an Excel cell, as opposed to a menu dropdown, to toggle on and off Scenarios?

RE: Excel 2007 Scenario toggling

Hi Simon, thanks for your query. Not without writing some code, I'm afraid. You could easily put some data validation on a cell to give you a drop down with the scenario names, but then you'll need to use the Worksheet_Change subroutine to capture the change in scenario name and switch to it. So it's a bit involved!

Hope this helps,

Anthony

RE: Excel 2007 Scenario toggling

Hello Simon,

One more thing you may try without doing any code. Add the Scenario button to your 'Quick Access Toolbar' (QAT).

To do this, click the drop-down on the right hand side of the QAT and select More Commands. Click the drop-down on the top left hand side and choose 'All Commands' then scroll down to Scenario. Double-clicking Scenario will add it to your QAT. Go back to your Home ribbon and if you have scenarios in the sheet you can use the button on your QAT to choose a different scenario.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.
