Multiple value choice
Hi
I have been trying to change the settings of one of the fields in our contact database to allow us to select multiple values. I have tried to do it by going through the lookup wizard and at the end of the process select "Allow multiple values for this lookup" option, but this option does not appear at all. Would you be able to help me with this problem.
Thank you
dorota
RE: Multiple value choice
Hi Dorota, thanks for your query. This is a difficult one to advise you on because it sounds like it depends on the underlying structure of the database. First of all, double check you have created the lookup field correctly, secondly, in design view on the table, switch to the lookup tab of the field properties and try changing Allow Multiple Values in there. Thirdly, if none of these work, look at the relationships between the tables, particularly if the Lookup is being generated by a one-to-one table relationship anywhere.

RE: Multiple value choice
Hi Anthony, thank you for your message. Unfortunately, I have not been able to resolve the problem. I decided to create a new field and re-enter the valus for it, but the wizard does not allow me to select the "Allow Multiple Values" choice. Would you be able to help me with this, please?
Many thanks
Dorota
