Date

when I add a value in a cell (an amount of money for example) is it possible to have the today's date appear in a correspondant cell in another column?

Thanks

Valentina

RE: Date

Hello Valentina, thanks for your query. There is no way to do this with standard functionality, but a small but of code can be added to the workbook to make this happen:

http://sourcedaddy.com/ms-excel/automatically-add-date-time-cell-upon-entry.html

I will be training with you tomorrow and Friday so I can add this to the relevant workbook for you if you like. Drop by at lunchtime or give me a shout if you spot me
