Excel convertion to word by batches
Hello,
Could I save an excel document into a word document by batches? e.g. more than 10 in one go.
Thanks,
Adelaido
RE: excel convertion to word by batches
Hi Adelaido, thanks for your query. Can you give me a bit more information about what you're trying to achieve? Are you trying to insert 10 Excel worksheets into a Word document, or convert the spreadsheets?
Hope this helps,
Anthony

RE: excel convertion to word by batches
Hi Adelaido. There's no built-in function to do this I'm afraid, it will almost certainly involve a macro of some kind. If you're happy recording a macro of the repetitive action, that will give you one-click conversion for one file. However, to batch convert you need to tinker with the macro code to loop through the files in a particular directory, converting them in bulk.
Hope this helps,
Anthony

Excel tip:Quickly hide and unhide rows and columnsUse the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+9 to hide selected rows and Ctrl+0 to hide selected columns. The good thing about this shortcut is that you do not need to select entire rows or columns. For example, select B3:D3 then press Ctrl+0 to hide columns B to D. |
