Ms access 2007

Is it possible to import a form with from one database in access 2007 to another? Are there any issues to be aware of when doing this process. I have a form that is not functioning properly that I imported from a different database.

Thanks for your advise

RE: ms access 2007

Hi Astley,

Thank you for your question.

You can import forms from one database to another. Go to the External Data tab and choose the Access option.

Then use the first option to import a form. I haven't come across any issues importing forms from one to another.

There may issues with some of the items on the form such as command buttons or any other automation.

When you open the database don't forget to say enable content from the security warning message.

The only issue might be the version the other form was created in.

I am sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Regards

Simon

Access tip:

How To Find All Overdue Accounts?

To find overdue accounts create a filter that compares today's date with the Invoice Date in the table. To do this:

1. Open the Query in Design View
2. Select the field for the filter and in the criteria row enter:

<Date()

This filter returns records where the Invoice Date is before today's date.

This filter can be manipulated if, for instance, Invoices are due 15 days after the Invoice Date. For this the filter would be:

<Date()-15

This filter returns records where the Invoice Date is 15 days before today's date.
