Project Intro Intermediate course
Resource
Would it be possible to give the total duration that a resource is available for the project? i.e. the resource is only available for the month of December?
RE: Resource
Hello Rene,
Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft 2007 course with Best STL.
Thank you for your question regarding resource availability.
This is possible through the Resource Information dialog box. Double click the resouce in question and in the General tab at the bottom left corner you can decide whether to select dates when the resource is available for your project. In the Resource Usage view you can also add 'Available From' and 'Available To' columns to make it easier to see when this type of change has been done.
I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.
If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?
Have a great day.
Regards,
Rodney

MS Project tip:Inserting Task Durations QuicklyWhen entering durations for your tasks simply use the single letters - m for min, h for hr, d for day, w for week, but mon for month. If default is set for days, you need only type the number, for example 3 for 3days, or 0.5 for half a day. |
