I am trying to create a new PT but I keep getting the following message -
The pivot table file name is not valid. To create a pt you must you data that is organised as a list with labeled columns
I'm confused as mine are labeled????
its ok I have sorted it now!!!!!!!! Phew

Thank you for your question - glad you got it all sorted.
Sometimes Excel is unsure of the range of cells to use as the source for your pivot table. Make sure you have clicked into the source data before choosing to pivot. Even better would be to highlight the range of cells including labels then start the pivot process (although most times this is not necessary).
