What if there are 2 possible return values i.e 2 Jone's within the vlookup criteria

Hi
If the item you are looking up is not unique then VLookup would not be suitable... For example, if your list contains names of clients that appear multiple times in the list such as Smith or Jones, then using a Lookup function to look up Smith, will look down the list and stop and return info for the first Smith it arrives at!
