Importing data from SAS to Access
What is the best way to import a database from a third party application like SAS (Statistical Analysis System) for analysis in Access? SAS can export as delimited data, .csv and .txt files.
RE: Importing data from SAS to Access
Hi Jon
Thanks for your question
I suggest that exporting the data from SAS into a text file would be the best approach, as Access has a wizard to import data from text files.
Go to Tools-Import and in the resulting dialog box change the file type to Text File. Select the file and the wizard will guide you through the process
