Ranking

If I have a column with various scores in, how do I rank those scores from 1-10?
And how do I differentiate which scores are in the top and bottom percent? I am aware that I can use conditional formatting to colour them, but was to score them 1,0 depending on their score to be used in an if statement later.

Thanks

RE: Ranking

Hello Robyn

Thank you for your post which after reviewing we are fairly confident we can find a solution but not one that we can relate via the forum.

The next steps will be to view your working files and to assess the scope of work required, durations and related costs.

Our initial guess is this will take a couple of hours work but we will have a more accurate estimate once we have viewed your files. I shall email you direct in case you wish to progress this.

Kind regards

Jacob

Excel tip:

COUNT function vs COUNTA function

The COUNTA function works in the same way as the COUNT function, except that it will count cells that contain text (labels) and also cells that contain numbers (values). The COUNT function will only count cells that contain numbers. Blank cells are not counted by either the COUNT or the COUNTA function.
