Decimal Point appearing as Comma

I have recently noticed that whenever I try to enter a .(decimal point) into a cell by using the .(decimal point) key on the Number pad, that it actually appears as a , (comma).

I've tried to change this, but my keyboard settings are set as UK, and it only happens with excel.

How can i get my decimal point to show a decimal point again?

RE: Decimal Point appearing as Comma

Hi Kieran, thanks for your query. Go to your Office button & Excel Options. In the Advanced category look in the first section Editing Options. At the bottom of that group look for Use System Separators and check they are set correctly.

Hope this helps,

Anthony
