Data formating

my dates show as 23-sep-1980, i cannot seem to change this format to numbers only.

RE: data formating

Hi Lorna

Thanks for your question

We first need to check if the dates are in fact being entered in a recognisible date format. Can you check to see if they are right or left aligned in the cell, and then please advise me.

If left aligned then they are being formated as text, and this would explain the problem

Thanks

Stephen

RE: data formating

Hi Stephen,

thanks for getting back to me, yes the dates are left aligned always.

I have to import the data from our MIS (SIMS.NET), and i dont think i can change anything!!!

thanks

Lorna
