Importing files
please remind me how to import pst files point by point
RE: importing files
Hi John, thanks for your query.
1. click the 'File' menu then the 'Import and Export' option.
2. scroll down and click on 'Import from another program' option.
3. click 'Next' button.
4. scroll down and click on 'Personal Folder File (*.pst)'.
5. click 'Next' button.
6. click on the 'Browse' button.
7. locate the .PST file and click on it. (Remember we searched for your pst files on your hard drive and then, as an example, copied one of the larger ones onto the desktop, so browse to the desktop if you have done the same.
8. select your preferred 'duplicates' option.
9. click 'Next' button.
10. click on Folder to import.
11. ensure 'Include subfolders' is selected unless you have reasons not to.
12. select folder to import into.
13. click on the 'Finish' button.
Some of your pst files were approaching 2GB in size, so there may be a slight delay while all the files are copied in.
Hope this helps,
Anthony

Excel tip:Viewing Many WorksheetsIf there are more worksheets in your workbook than there is room to show all their tabs at the bottom of the screen - Right click on the navigation arrows. A list of all your worksheets is shown. You just click on the one that you want to access. If you have more than 15 worksheets, select in the list and choose your worksheet from hundreds. |
