Multiple spreadsheets

As i do not use formula very often I am not that familiar with Excel, where can I find the formula symbols and meanings

RE: Multiple spreadsheets

Hi Bryan

Thanks for your question

Probably the best approach is to open the paste function tool.

Click on the insert menu and select function. You can then browse the functions by category. When you select a function you will then get a dialog which will explain the structure of the function and guide you through the process of building it. There is also a link to microsoft help for that function

Hope this is useful

Regards

Stephen

Excel tip:

Change the Value of a Constant

When using a named constant in a worksheet, you may wish to change the value of that constant.

From the 'Insert' menu, select 'Name', then select 'Define'.

In the 'Define Name' dialog box, select the constant that you want to change.
Change the value in the 'Refers To' box.
Click OK.

Wherever that named constant has been used it will now use its new value.
