Slice up cell data
i saw a function where a colleague split out an IP range (198.160.0.1-198.160.0.5) from one cell to two cells(198.160.0.1 and 198.160.0.5.
what is this function called and where can i find it?
RE: Slice up cell data
Hi Richard, thanks for your query. The function is called "Text to columns" and it lives in the Data drop down menu. Your colleague set the delimiter to "-" and the computer did the rest!
Hope this helps,
Anthony
