Macro

How to protect created button from being pressed by unauyhorised person?

RE: Macro

Hi Agnieszka

Thank you very much for your question. If we add a Macro to a spreadsheet anyone with the ability to run macros (Tools > Macros > Security) will be able to run it.

It is possible to create Macros that perhaps require a password before they run - but to set this up we would need some additional VBA programming which is unfortunately outside the scope we can cover on the forum.

I hope this goes some way to answering your question.

Do let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,

Andrew

Excel tip:

Selecting blank cells within a range of data

Select the range of data which includes the blank cells that you would like to select. Press the F5 key, this will take you to the GoTo dialogue box where you can click on Special and then select Blanks.
