how to print a particular summary task including its subtasks only
RE: printing
Hi Timea,
Thank you for your question.
If you insert a text 2 field and device a set of identical text for each group:
Tasks Text 2
-----------------------------
Phase 1 PH1
Task A PH1
Task B PH1
Phase 2 PH2
Task C PH2
TasK D PH2
Now hide that column field.
Then go to Project - Filtered For and More Filters. Click New.
Set the FieldName to Text 2, then the Test box to Equals and in the Value(s) box type "Please enter Phase code"?
Whenever you run that filter a prompt box will come up with the speech marked text. If you type PH1 it should return the summary task and sub tasks.
If you wanted the results to print for multiple phases add the same criteria to the row or rows below but change the And/Or column to OR between each line of criteria.
I hope this works. Let me know.
Regards
Simon
