Night Work
I have set up my project to use the night shift calendar but the gant chart does not show the work spreading across part of monday and into tuesday. how do I fix this?
RE: Night Work
Hi Stephen,
Thank you for your question.
If you go to Format and then Timescale. If you need to, choose to display three tiers. Assign Days to the top tier, Hours to the Middle tier and the bottom tier to Minutes changing the count to 30.
This should then show you the start of the task beginning on the previous day running into the next morning.
I hope this answers your question.
Regards
Simon

MS Project tip:Formatting Bar TextTo display notes or resource initials on the Gantt chart bars, choose Format, Bar Styles and the Text tab. Select the position you want to show the text i.e. Top or Inside etc, then choose the field name you are looking for from the drop down arrow. Type the first letter of the name to get quickly to the top of the letter range. Click OK. |
