Excel - Formula

I have a training date spreadsheet that has training start date and end date, some delegates require accommodation the night before and others on the nights of the actual course days. I need to simply translate the night priors and intermediate room night requirements into dates ie

Course start date - 1 December 2009
Course end date - 4 December 2009
Accommodation needed for the night before course start date and during course need to transalete this into date accommodation required ie 30 November, 1st, 2nd & 3 December

I can send the spreadsheet if this would be easier

RE: Excel - Formula

Hi Sharon

Thankyou for your question

It would indeed be helpful if you emailed me the sheet

My email address is sw@stl-training.co.uk

I will then give the matter my urgent attention

RE: Excel - Formula

Hi Sharon

Thanks for your post and sending through the information as requested.

This has helped us establish that your request is beyond the scope of the forum and in these cases we can recommend a more consultative approach.

Any consultation will take trainer time and therefore have associated costs, we always specify any work in advance and await approval before proceeding.

I shall email you direct so if you wish for us to look into this further you can reply to my email.

Kind regards

Jacob

Excel tip:

Copying Formulae Quickly

There is a quicker way of copying a formula down a column.

Just point and double click on the black autofill handle in the right hand corner of a cell.

This will work providing you have some data in the column to the left of the column.
