Protection
hi, i want to protect my sales work sheet so that certain staff can not access the sales spreadsheet within a file?
RE: protection
Hi Amanda,
Thank you for your question.
Do you mean you would like to hide certain sheets in a workbook and then send the file to another person so they cannot see that hidden sheet?
If so, view the sheet and hide it via the Format Sheet and Hide command.
Then protect the workbook via Tools Protection and protect workbook. Set a password and save the file.
Test this out first just to make sure you are happy that this is exactly what you want.
I hope this answers your question.
Regards
Simon
