Why can you not view print preview on excel 2008, but you can on word and powerpoint?

RE: Excel

Hi Claire

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum. I've found a discussion regarding the absent print preview button that you might find of interest.

http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.mac.office.word/browse_thread/thread/f02e62b96f206c29

It looks like Word has it's own preview engine but the other applications rely on the printer preview found in the Print dialogue box.

Hope this helps. Please do let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew

Excel tip:

Saving your Excel Spreadsheet as a CSV File

In situations where you need to save your Excel spreadsheet as a CSV file, follow these simple steps.

Click the File tab and click Save As.
Enter a name in the File name field.
Click the drop-down arrow next to the Save as type field to select the file type. Scroll down the list and select CSV (comma delimited) (*.CSV)
Click Save

The data will now be saved to a separate CSV file which can be used in different applications.
