Excel ribbon options
Some options are not available on Excel
I prepared a chart. When clicking on it to access layout ribbon, in Background: Chart Wall/Chart Floor/3-D Rotation are all greyed out so I cant use them. Nothing happens when you click on them.
Also in Layout ribbon, under Analysis: Lines/Up&Down are also greyed out.
Is there something I should set up in Excel to activate them?
Also in my sales chart, how do I get the Vertical axis to have values in increments of 20,000 like in the manual? My chart only has a vetical axis with increments in 50,000 stages.
RE: Excel ribbon options
Hello Sally
Thank you for your question.
If there are certain option greyed out, it may just be to do with the type of chart you are working with - maybe these particular options are not available to be adjusted with the chart type you are using.
To change the increments on the vertical axis, right-click on the axis (or axis labels) and then select Format Axis. In the Axis Options category, you can alter the Major Unit setting which controls the increment size.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards
Amanda
