Using basic stats
where can I find summary of functions available in excel and information on how to use excel to do basic stats?
RE: using basic stats
Hello Veena
Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.
If you search for functions in Excel help, there should be a Help topic List of worksheet functions (by category) that comes up in the list of results. From here you can view all the functions within the various categories.
There is also a tutorial available on the Microsoft web site regarding statistical functions - some of it might be a bit basic but there are parts that might be useful:

The following article might also be useful:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel/HA011266271033.aspx?pid=CL100570551033
I hope this helps, bearing in mind that I'm not a statistician!
Kind regards
Amanda

Excel tip:Naming and Using ConstantsConstants make calculations easier so worksheets are more easily understood. Constant values also need to be given relevant and memorably names. It is also easier to change the value of a constant. |
