Setting up alerts/reminders to receive email notifications
Is it possible to set up alerts in MS Projects to receive e-mail notification immediately when some action has occurred with your task or status report.
Also is it possible to configure reminders to receive e-mail notification when your attention is needed on tasks and status reports?
RE: Setting up alerts/reminders to receive email notifications
Hi Lillian,
Thank you for your question.
If you have Project Server running with Microsoft Project, there is a lot more interaction between Outlook and Project.
As far as I am aware, Project does not have the capability to send you automatic email alerts if tasks are delayed or moved.
I hope this answers your question.
Regards
Simon
