Pivot Tables

Where you have multiple values in 1 column on a pivot

i.e. Air Lingus 1000
BMI 50
Total 1050
BA 500
Ethiad 750
Total 1250
etc

How do I express the individual figures as a percentage of the sub total value?

RE: Pivot Tables

Hello Christopher

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

I think what you're after is using the % of column option for displaying your data items as percentages rather than as values.

To do this, double-click on the grey box that represents the Sum of X (X being your data items/figures); then click the Options button in the PivotTable Field dialogue box that appears on the screen.

Under Show data as, select % of column and click OK.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards
Amanda

RE: Pivot Tables

Hi Amanda,

It's probably easier that I email a spreadsheet showing what I mean, is this possible?
