RE: Formulas

Hi Michael

Thank you for posting into the forum. A quick way to find out more about the functions built into Excel 2007 is to click on the formulas tab. You will see the Function library contains groups of functions. Click on any of them then hover your mouse over an items in the drop down list. Excel will offer a description of what each function can do.

I hope this helps - do let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew

Excel tip:

No Zeros

Want all the zeros in your worksheet to appear blank? Choose Tools/Options, Click on the View Tab, Deselect the Zero Values Option, Click OK.
Easy wasn't it? But be aware that these cells are not actually blank, they still contain the value zero. This is important because certain functions (ie AVERAGE) make a distinction between blank cells and those with a zero value.
