What is the significance of the "Interval" selection when producing the Moving Average chart through the Data Analysis Function.

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.
The following article on the Microsoft web site discussed the Moving Average analysis tool, although the article mentions Excel 2003 I'm assuming the functionality of this is the same in 2007.
