VBA

is there an easy way of indexing the procedures

RE: VBA

Hi Kate

Thank you for your question.

Could you clarify are you looking for an effective naming convention for your procedures so you can easily locate them, or are you looking for a tool that will automatically list all the procedures in a project

Thanks

Stephen

RE: VBA

Hi Stephen,

A tool that will automatically list all of the procedures.

I managed to get the DB from the email that I sent so there is no need to keep the version that you copied - thanks.

With kind regards,
Kate

RE: VBA

HI Kate

Thank you for your question and clarification

First, I apologise for the delay in getting back to you. I have been out of the office and your question took some research.

I have been unable to find any third party software that would index the procedures and functions in your database.

Access does however have a database documenter tool that will list all the [procedures together with their code.

To use, click on tools - Analyze - Documenter. In the resulting wizrd select the modules tab and tick all the modules and click OK.

Hope this helps

Regards

Stephen

Access tip:

Hiding rows and columns

To hide a column or row in Access, you need to minimise the column or row. This can be done by placing your mouse on the right edge of a column, wait for the mouse to change to a double aroow and then drag to minimise the column
