Remote Text Posting
Hi,
I would like to have "BLOCKED" written in a 'Cell-G7' based on the formatting colour in 'Cell-G7' - however, I want to be write this formula from a cell other than 'Cell-G7'
FOR EXAMPLE:
I have formatted 'Cell-G7' so that it turns black based on a condition from another cell. Now I would like the word "BLOCKED" to appear in 'Cell-G7' the moment it turns black, without writing the formula in 'Cell-G7' itself.
RE: Remote Text Posting
Hello Francis
Thank you for your question.
I don't think this will be as straightforward as it might sound; and have the feeling that this would be something that would require you to write VBA code to resolve. I will check with some of my colleagues and let you know.
Kind regards
Amanda

Dear Francis,
Sorry for the delay in responding.
Thanks for your forum post which after review we have agreed that there is a solution available but it is beyond the scope of this forum.
This sort of requirement falls under consultancy and we would need to review working examples of your files along with a list of key objectives you require.
We will then confirm the scope of work, duration and costs for you to decide on. If you would like to explore this option further please feel free to contact JacobATstl-training.co.uk.
Kind regards,
Simon
