whats the difference between record and database?

Thanks for your question.
A record is one entry within the database. For example, you may have a database of names and addresses. Say you have two friends, Adam and Bill. Adam has one record allocated to him, with all his address, phone number and contact details; and Bill has another record.
And the database is the collection of all the records.
