Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.
You can launch the IF function by selecting a cell in your spreadsheet where you want the function to go; then either click the fx button to the left of the formula bar; or go to the Formulas ribbon and click the Insert Function button.
Then select Logical from the Categories box - IF should show in the list at the bottom of the Insert Function dialogue box.
