Saving document in excel

Can you explain why when I want to save some documents from 2003 version to 2007 I sometimes get the following message.

The following features cannot be saved in macro-free workbooks;
- VB project
To save a file with these features, click No, then choose a macro-enabled file type in the file type list.
To continue saving as a macro-free workbook click yes.

When I click yes and choose a macro-enabled file type I receive another message

This workbook contains Excel 4.0 macros or Excel 5.0 modules. If you would like to password protect or restrict permission to this document, you need to remove these macros.

The workbook does not have any macros and I then have to save the document in version 2003.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks
Marlene

Excel tip:

Naming and Using Constants

Constants make calculations easier so worksheets are more easily understood. Constant values also need to be given relevant and memorably names. It is also easier to change the value of a constant.

For example:
Instead of entering 17.5% in each cell when you generate a VAT amount you could name a Constant "VAT" and assigning a "0.175" value to it. To do this:

From the 'Insert' menu select 'Name', then select 'Define'.

Enter the constant
