Can I change the shortcut keys?

RE: Shortcuts

Hi Julian

Welcome to the forum and 12 months support.

If you're talking about changing say Alt+F to Ctrl+z to open the file menu then no, it's not possible. But if you wanted to create a shortcut that will say copy a cell or series of cells paste them in another location of a worksheet and create a total then whaqt you are looking to do is create a macro. Just click on Help and do an index search for Macro. Excel will provide very clear step-by-step instructions on how to do this.

Hope this answers your question.

regards

Excel tip:

Apply currency format quickly in Excel

To quickly apply the currency format to cell in your spreadsheet, select (highlight) the cells you wish to apply currency format to, then use Ctrl + Shift + $

This will apply a pounds symbol even though the $ key is pressed.
