Pivot Table Date Grouping

Can the Pivot table group by function (eg for dates) have customised ranges (eg, by a business financial month as oppose to a calendar month)?

Any help appreciated

RE: Pivot Table Date Grouping

Hello Linda

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

Would it work if you chose to group by a number of days rather than by months?

This way you can specify a start date and enter the number of days from the start date that are included in the financial month.

You might only be able to see one financial month at a time, but at least this would give you a different grouping than a calendar month.

Kind regards
Amanda
