Data Filter
If a document was sent via email and you added some information but those information dose not filter what could cause this?
RE: Data Filter
Hello
Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.
There could be a couple of reasons for this:
1. When you receive the email, do you open and save the Excel file first before making changes to it?
2. If there are any blank rows or columns between the data that was in the file when you received it; and the data you added into the file, then chances are it will not be filtered.
3. Is there already a filter applied to the data when you receive it? If so any data you add when a filter is already applied is not automatically filtered as you add it in. You would need to remove the filters first, so all the existing data shows, add your extra data in, then apply the filters again.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards
Amanda
