what are tables in excel?

RE: tables

Hi Jane,

When you have data arranged in columns with or without headings, you can apply Table Styles to the data.

Table styles include different formatting options for headings, rows and columns which format the background of the cells with different fill colours and different font colours.

The table style also includes a filter button for each heading so you can filter specific values from the column or sort the column of data.

I hope this answers your question.

Regards

Simon

Excel tip:

Printing spreadsheets without opening them first

Here's a fast way of printing a spreadsheet from Windows Explorer/My Computer.

Go to the location where the spreadsheet is saved on your computer, then right-click on the icon next to the document and select Print from the menu.

The spreadsheet will automatically open, print and close itself.
