Some formatting seems to affect autofill - what type of formatting makes autofill effectively patterned as opposed to 'predictive' filling e.g instead of dragging the number 10 down, it changes the next row to 11

Formatting the column as number means the autofil with numbers will not increase with each row. Formatting the column as text means the autofill will add one to the number with each row.
