When you have something you need to do over and over again you can write or record a macro to do it for you so you dont have to manually go through the steps each time. You can then attach the macro to a button in excel which can be clicked to perform the task or you could have it so that it automatically runs upon saving. You can use the macro recorder to build them which is best for beginners or directly write them in code if you are more advanced.
