RE: how do I continue learning about formulas?
Hello Yasmine
Thank you for your question
You can do general research on the internet, but i find the best way is to deal with each issue as it comes up. So when you need to do something in excel, research the formula and problem online until you find the solution. The help functionality may also be useful to learn about the basic formulas such as LEFT, RIGHT, CONCATENATE etc. If you want to do something and dont know how then make a forum post and someone will get back to you. If you get really stuck and frequently need help then you could try joining an online forum such as experts exchange (which may charge) and post your problem where experts can reply.
If this resolves your question, please mark it as resolved. If not, please reply with more information.
Kind regards
Cress

Excel tip:Turn Function tooltips on and offExcel 2002 (XP) and Excel 2003 have the Function tooltips facility. When you type in a function name followed by a bracket, for example, =IF(, a yellow box appears beside the function name and lists the function's arguments. This is very useful when you can't quite remember the order of a function's arguments or what the arguments actually are! |
