How do I set up a macro?

RE: Macros

Hello Nikki

Thank you for your question.

To create a macro, go to Tools-Macro-Record New Macro.

Create a name for your macro, when you are ready to start recording click OK.

Go through the steps you want the macro to perform for you, and either click the Stop Recording button on the small toolbar that would have appeared on your screen; or go to Tools - Macro - Stop Recording.

Now you will have created a macro.

Kind regards
Amanda

Excel tip:

Using basic functions without doing formulas

When you highlight figures Autocalc tells you the total in the bottom right of the screen, but if you right click on the sum it will give you some basic functions. The functions are Min, Max, Average, Sum, Count, and Count Nums.
