Hello Marcia

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

If you have created a chart, you can select a different chart type by clicking on the chart to select it; then go to Chart - Chart Type on the menu bar.

Select a different chart type; click OK.

To create a text box, use the drawing toolbar (should be near the bottom of your screen).

The text box button shows the white box with the small A inside it.

Click on the button, move your mouse onto the Excel screen, hold the left mouse down and drag diagonally to make a text box.

The cursor will come up inside the text box so you can type into it.

Excel tip:

Status Bar Functions

When using the SUM, MIN, MAX, AVERAGE and COUNT functions, the result of such calculations are displayed in the worksheet.

However, if a range of cells, containing numbers, is highlighted, and then a right-mouse click is performed at the bottom right side of the status bar, then the result of those functions will be displayed.
