Is it worth having a database password as well as read-only users

Thank you for attending Access 2007 Advanced course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.
You may want to set the Database Password so that no unauthorized person can access your database. This means that they should not even be able to open the database.
But then you may have some individuals who you want to open the database but don't want them to make any changes to the existing records.
