Access-importing data
Can you import data from any other software apart from Word or Excel? For example Filemaker Pro?
RE: Access-importing data
Dear Clare
Thank you for attending Access Introduction course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.
Please note that Access is a Database program and most of the database programs can import and export data from other databases and spreadsheets.
Sometimes when the databases or spreadsheets are not compatible with each other then most of the databses and spreadsheets program have the facility to convert the data into CSV (Comma Seperated Values) or tab limited.
Normally anything that is arranged in rows and columns can be imported into Access.
I am noty very familiar with the PageMaker program but may be the link below will help you in answering your query:

I hope this has answered your query.
If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!
Kindest Regards
