How do you recover a macro if you've closed the visual basic editor window it's in and you can't find it?

RE: Advanced Excel Course

Hello Joanne,

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

If you mean you are still in the Visual Basic Editor and have only closed the module window then,

On the left hand side of the screen you should see the Project - VBA Project window in which you will find the VBAProject.xls(PERSONAL.XLS) if you expand the + to the left of that you should see Mircosoft Excel Objects and Modules if you expand the + next to Modules you should find the Macro there and a double click should open the macro for you.

Thanks and Kind regards

Maggie

Excel tip:

Adding multiple rows in an Excel 2010 Worksheet

If you want to add more than one row to an Excel Worksheet, drag select the number or rows you want added to the spreadsheet.

Then right click on these selected rows, choose Insert from the menu, and the new rows will be added above the rows you first selected.
