Can you merge data in access to SQL or Toad?
RE: Database Merging
Dear Ike
Thank you for attending Access Advanced course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.
Access is mainly compatible with most of the other databases and spreadsheet packages. If you find that for some reason the some database doesn't allow you to import Access table or query then you can export the Table or the query as text file which will give you the option for saving table or query as Tab delimited or CSV file.
To give you some understanding of MS Access and additional information:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Access
You may want to scroll down and be intersted in the section called Access to SQL Server Upsizing.
I hope this has answered your query.
If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!
Kindest Regards
