Saving chart templates

Once your own template is saved, how do you re-access?

RE: Saving chart templates

Hi Theresa,

Thank you for your question.

Once you have created your chart and applied all the formatting options you require, save it as a template.

Create your new chart and to apply the template to it, follow these instructions:

1. Select the Design Tab which appears on the Chart Contextual ribbon (green).
2. Click on Change Chart Type and open the Templates folder.
3. Double click on the template you want and it will apply it to the chart.

I hope this answers your question.

Regards

Simon

Excel tip:

Highlighting a data range

Attempting to use a mouse to highlight a large range of cells with data in Excel can make the mouse to have a life of it's own!

Use keyboard strokes instead.

Step 1. Place the cusor in the cell where the highlighting should begin.

Step 2. Select keystroke, CTRL+SHIFT+END

This will take the cursor to the furthermost bottom corner of the data range found in that worksheet. And highlight that range of cells at the same time
