Excel VBA Intro Intermediate course

VBA general

Can you send me Microsoft's VBA manual. I have heard that is 300 pages long , I guess you must have a digital copy of that document so you can sent to your clients.

Im hoping that this document will have somethign along these lines.

activeworkbook
.activate ''activates the sheet
.worksheets ''refers to the worksheets object
.add '' adds a sheet
.select '''select/activate a sheet

I.E. a nice layout of the objects and their methods properties and what they do.

If you know the existence of such document please attach along with the VBA manual.

Many thanks

Hello Nikolas

Thank you for your post.

As a delegate, you will be able to download reference material relating to the course you have attended with us by logging into your delegate account via our web site.

We do not have an electronic copy of the Microsoft VBA manual you refer to. We are not affliated with Microsoft directly, therefore we produce and distribute our own reference material.

Kind regards
Amanda

Excel tip:

Turn Function tooltips on and off

Excel 2002 (XP) and Excel 2003 have the Function tooltips facility. When you type in a function name followed by a bracket, for example, =IF(, a yellow box appears beside the function name and lists the function's arguments. This is very useful when you can't quite remember the order of a function's arguments or what the arguments actually are!

However, Function tooltips can become annoying. To turn them off, choose Tools|Options. and select the General tab. Then, untick the Function tooltips box and choose OK.
