Critical Path
What is a critical path and how do I view it?
RE: Critical Path
Hi Joanne
You can always refer to your course reference material or online help for the definitve on critical path. To summarise; the crtical path denotes linked tasks in your project plan with minimum or no slack (float).
In Project you have the option to set exactly how much float sets a task as "critical". There are several ways to view your critical path, one way is to goto Project menu, then "Filtered for: all tasks", then "Critical"
Hope this helps
Regards
Jacob

MS Project tip:Link tasks using predecessor column - projecta. First, note ID number of the task you want to link to (predecessor). Then, in the predecessor column of the task you want to link to (successor), type the predecessor task's ID number. |
