I would like more information on formatting Pivot tables

thanks for your post hope you enjoyed yor training
The way you would use pivot tables is as follows - firstly make sure your data has headings and you click on a data cell - then go to the data menu and choose pivot table
then go through the steps till you get to the last step - make sure you use as new sheet click finish
what you need to do is drag and drop all the fields from the list to different parts of the pivot table when done this you can move them around, filter them and change the fields by either clicking the drop down lists or, double clicking the field names
There is lots of different types of formats as in auto formats from the pivot table toolbar
